Fruit Rhubarb Crunch

A terrific dessert, you can make it with a variety of different fruits to please everyone!

Sometimes I split the 'crisp' mixture and spread some in the bottom of the pan as well as on top. My favorite combination for this recipe is rhubarb, apples, and strawberries, but experiment to find your favorite!

Ingredients
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 6 cups fruit and rhubarb
  • 1½ cups flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ¾ cup butter
  • 1 cup oats
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp allspice
  • 1 tsp sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, mix sugar, 3 tbsp flour, rhubarb and fruit. Place mixture in ungreased 13x9 baking dish.
  2. Mix together flour, brown sugar, oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and sugar. Melt butter, combine with dry mixture. Spread evenly over fruit.
  3. Bake for 35-45 minutes, until fruit is bubbling and oat mixture is brown.
